Gun or Bow

Have you ever hunted with a bow? Which do you prefer? I recently joined the local archery club to learn how to use a bow but I'm far from being ready to trust myself in the woods.

I've used a bow for target practice and archery lessons. It was fun but I would not hunt with a bow. I'm not really good at it. I swear you have to be dead on to hit a deer with one.

I think it would take much of the time to get the bow and arrow ready for the target. It might run off before you can even fit the arrow.

I love to bow hunt deer. To be honest, when I first started bow hunting I did it for the extended seasons. Over the years though, It's become my favorite type of hunting. It's challenging, to say the least, but to me It's the most rewarding type of hunting that there is. At times it can be the most aggravating too.

I am not a hunter, but I do like to shoot at targets. I found the bow to be much more difficult than I have ever imagined. I stick to the guns.
