Do you typically hunt where you live or do you take hunting vacations to other states? I would think that sometimes it would be nice to see a different place and maybe hunt for something you may not have near you, such as elk or moose.

I've always hunted within fifty miles of home, but I'd love to go moose hunting some time. We do have moose here in NY, but not a huntable population yet.

I would love to try hunting on a different ground, but I'd like to do it with some friends and a very good guide. It won't be a good experience to get lost in unfamiliar territory.
