Default Where can we practice hunting skills?

Are there any centers where they teach the skill needed in hunting? Or do we learn hunting only through experience and tips from our mentors who have been hunting for quite some time?

I've seen some states offer classes to become a guide and such. I'm sure some local gun shops can guide you to someone willing to teach, or maybe some hunting groups in your area.
