Do you use trail cameras when you are scouting for deer or other large game? We were considering getting a few but wondering how effective they really are?

I have known a few people who have used them just to see what was in the area. Sometimes they have gotten lucky, and sometimes not. I know it doesn't really answer your question, but it seems a toss up between friends.
