Corn mazes

One of my favorite fall time activities is hitting the local corn mazes. Looks like there are some really elaborate ones this year. If you've never done one, it is great fun, especially at night with flashlights!

How fun! Do they also have pumpkin patches where the mazes are? Here in California they have them but with pumpkin patches. Lots of fun!

I saw a thing on TV about the guy who started them. Pretty interesting. I would love to try one, but have never found any down here. Maybe I will look harder this year.

We have one very locally to me and one about an hour away. We went last year, for Halloween they do it at night and it is "haunted", we may try that one this year.

there is a really big corn maze over off of 41.

It's called Sweetfields and they do a design in the maze, its different every year. and during the summer, they have a sunflower maze!

We plan on going soon! they have tons of activities, there is a cost, but its not to bad

They call ours the "Maize maze". Near the exit they offer apple cider and donuts, plus pumpkins of every size, and a playground made of tractor tires.

When my son was about 6 we took him in one. He ran off and got separated. We were terrified, but was he? No he was having a ball and was not afraid. We would call for him and hear him giggle. We would call firmer and he would laugh more. He eventually got tired and we found him but he had a blast.

We have been in them but I'm not that fond of mazes. I find enough mazes out in the wilderness when I'm trying to hike. I've taken the kids to some but I don't participate.
