Default Day Trips

We have had a few beautiful days here lately down south and we have started taking day trips for a short hike and a picnic with the baby. Anyone else been venturing outdoors a little more here lately as we get closer to Spring?

Yes we have been slowly venturing out. I feel like a bear coming out of hibernation. Getting in a hike or two. Starting to get a few things outside around the house. Sunday I didn't want to go back in until after dark. Love that fresh air filling my lungs.

Ahh, the fresh air of coming spring and the beauty of the outside world! I want to stay outside most of the day, after being closeted inside.

Just this week I went climbing on Mount Tam one day and to the beach the next. Fun times.

I took the kids to the state park this weekend and we went on our first trail of the spring. It was a little wet but the kids enjoyed the time out of the house. I enjoy spending time outside with the kids and my wife loved having the day to herself.

I really wanted to get out sunday and today. Sadly my stomach has not had the same desire and has pretty much kept me home bound. They say it is only 63F here, but feels like it is in the 70's. I would love to go for a hike or maybe do some geocaching this weekend.

We are hoping to get out to a local state park in the next week or two for a little day trip. I am so ready for spring.
