| Do you worry about your environment? Just wondering... Do you recycle? Try to use less water? Less chemical fertilizer? Pick up trash on the ground? Get mad when you see someone through trash out their car window including cigarettes?
I think most of us outdoors people do this. What do you all think?
I do all of the above.

| I could go on all day about the things I do and the things I hate to see people do. I guess the biggest thing is that people are lazy. If I'm walking or hiking I make sure I have a grocery bag with me so I can pick up any trash I find. It erk's me when I see people just walk by trash or throw their cigarettes on the ground. Laziness. I was riding with a friend and he threw an empty cigarette pack out his window. I chastised him for doing it, and of course he called me a tree huger. I'm far from being a tree huger but I think inconsiderate people irritate me the most.

I get criticized from some people I work with because I make sure the trash goes in the trash can and not the ground.

| I do the recycle with the garbage. I will also donate any old clothes, and items around the house to the local Salvation Army, or Goodwill.
I personally cannot stand it when people toss their cigarettes out the window. That one really gets on my nerves.

Also, a really crazy law here, if you get pulled over and you don't have a litter bag in your vehicle you will get a $90 fine.

| I have to agree that some people are just lazy to throw their litter properly anywhere they want to. It doesn't look good seeing trash scattered everywhere, they can even create health complication for those who passes by.

| I worry what it will look like if something isn't done to get people to think before they throw anything on the ground. I have a 5 YO grandson who I want to have as nice a place to camp/hike when he gets old as we do now.

| I like to think I do a lot to try to preserve the environment; I do conserve water and use recycled materials, I also have a water bottle I refill with filtered water at home and I shop with a canvas bag, etc. I do what I can without making life too difficult, I guess, and that's because I'd hate to have to give up a park to make room for a landfill some day.

| I worry about the environment because when the environmental abuse becomes excessive, it can affect the land and air and eventually would harm our health. I've seen people throwing their litter everywhere when no one is looking and that is not nice in my view.

| I too use a water bottle that I reuse every day, and I only take the plastic bags from the grocery store if I need more for the dog when we are walking. We bring those canvas bags when we shop, they are great, I like them a lot.
