OK, it maybe too late but I just downloaded and installed Google Earth in my system. I think it will help me plan my outdoor adventures. Do you use Google Earth?

LOL You know the best way to make good use of Google Earth, thanks for inspiring. I don't use it very often anymore. So, it's not possible to get closer than 600 m, right?
I use it occasionally when I'm lazy to check my map or I can't find someone to guide me. I like the features of Google Earth to physically see the location before I even get there.
