I like the sound of crickets too. I even bought a CD a while ago that has outdoor sounds to it and crickets is one of the sounds. It's nice to hear throughout the year as I'm trying to fall asleep.
I like the sound of crickets and bullfrogs. It gets a little loud around here sometimes, but it's a sound I've been listening to my whole life so I find it soothing.
I will join the club of cricket lovers. I love camping out and the sound of the crickets is like music. So it feels like camping out even when I am at home whenever I hear the crickets.
I do like the crickets and bullfrogs, but I could do without the woodpeckers. They are endearing creatures, but not when they start with the early morning shenanigans! It's just too loud.
Give me any kind of sound animals make, just not a mosquito. I'm really hate the buzzing sound of mosquitoes. They seem to purposely annoy me first then suck my blood when my blood pressure is high due to their annoying buzz.
