Default Protecting the Camera from Ants

We just had a camping last month and my camera was damage by ants. I don't know how the ants got inside the camera but I woke the next morning with my camera full of ants. I forgot to place it inside the bag before going to sleep. I guess the heat attracted the ants and made it their nest.

Um... YUCK! That's awful. I've never heard of ants going inside of a camera but it doesn't surprise me. It was probably the right temperature and dry enough to keep them safe.
