Typhoid outbreak in the US!

I just found out about this the other day. This is getting ridiculous. First the salmonella outbreak with the egg recall and now this! What exactly do these big government entities do that our supposed to make sure the food is safe before it's distributed!

I saw that on the news. Wasn't it due to some ice treat bars? I just sort of caught the tail end of it on the news. I don't usually buy ice cream but it is really scary that these things aren't being caught by the FDA inspectors BEFORE they get to the consumers who depend upon them to keep our food safe.

It just goes to show that big government is not the answer. You would think in this day and age with the billions of tax dollars that are siphoned by these alphabet agencies that something like this would not occur.
