What Is It About A Campfire?

What is it about a campfire that fascinates us all so much. Sitting at a campfire and talking is about my favorite thing to do. I love to cook on it, sit and look at it and I definitely love the smell of a campfire. The local kids have been having bonfires lately which I understand are getting a bit out of hand with drugs and booze but I can understand the pull of the fire.

It brings the group you are with closer together... I mean everyone has to be next to each other to enjoy the fire... its dark, its quiet and memorizing. Love love LOVE the campfire times!!!

I love the fire too, I think it's the laziness of it all. Throughout the day we are hiking and cooking and swimming, the campfire is for sitting and telling stories and just chilling out.
