Hot Springs, Arkansas

Has anybody ever been to Hot Springs? It is within driving distance of where I live (maybe 6 hours) and I was thinking about taking a trip there this year, but I wanted to make sure it was worth it. Do you think it would make a good weekend trip?

I have never been in that area of our beautiful country. But for me just about anything is worth a weekend trip. You only live once and you will never know what else you will see along your trip. Life is an adventure, get out and enjoy it.

My dad is from Arkansas and when we were kids he took us to Hot Springs. I remember it well enough to know that it is someplace I always wanted to go back to. While there don't forget to check out Dogpatch USA. Probably aren't too many who remember Lil' Abner and the Saddy Hawkins race.
