Default Wide Open Spaces Near Savannah?

I'm going to eventually be traveling through Savannah and stopping there for a couple of days. Are there any good trails or parks, etc. away from the bustle of the city?

Not sure if it will help, but I found these that are within 30-40 miles on the city.

Fort McAllister Historic Park

Fort Morris Historic Site

Little Ocmulgee State Park and Lodge

Skidaway Island State Park

You can also try the Savannah Wildlife Refuge and Harris Neck Refuge. You can drive through the Savannah one and see lots of wildlife and there are trails through the Harris Neck one.
