Default Canadian Greetings

I am from Canada. I have a full love of hiking, being outside and camping. I am looking for like minded people and those who can maybe teach me some things I do not know. I look forward to meeting people.

I am on the opposite coast in a very small part of Nova Scotia but it is a beautiful place ,not unlike British Columbia, to be spending time camping and hiking, I certainly enjoy both

Were currently battening down the hatches for Hurricane Earl, he is expected to hit us very early tomorrow morning. I hurried and took down my patio set, etc and packed it all away. Supposed to hit us as a category 1 at least.

I was wondering if you were going to get hit with it. Last I saw it was at Carolina's and weakening I believe. It is a tough thing, but I've been through several. Make sure you have plenty of water. We filled up everything we could. I know people who used to fill up two liter bottles, and place them in the toilet. This way it kept the two liter cool, and you used less water per flush.

Let us know how you make out.

We made out fine. It seems we only got some wind and rain. I live inland so we do not get hit nearly as hard as the outskirts on the edges by the water and shorelines.
