| Bottle or homemade? When it comes to marinades and barbecue sauces do you use already prepared sauces or do you make your own? I think there are some pretty good commercial barbecue sauces out there, but my husband has been experimenting lately with making his own. As for marinades, I always make those from scratch.

| Simple answer, depends. Lawyr's (sp?) has some really good marinades I have no problems using, especially when in a rush. Other times I like to make my own. Brines I always make myself.
I've never tried making barbecue sauce, but do want to try making my own hot sauces.

| I am not too fond of really hot hot sauces but I do love me a good BBQ sauce. Very few men can take me in a ribs eating contest and that is all I am going to say.

| I make my own barbeque sauce even though it is made from experiment. I'm not an expert at making barbeque marinade unless there's a good barbeque sauce recipe that I can try out.

| I would love to learn how to make barbeque sauce but I would not really know where to start from. I can make some stuff but I am no where near a good cook that I can think of compared to others in my family that is.

| I prefer A1 marinades the best. I also make some of my own. My good old standby is Italian dressing or BBQ sauce when I'm out of everything and out of time. I have never tried Lawry's.

| We switch around using different BBQ sauces. I`ve never tried to make my own. It can`t be to hard. But my husband likes hot stuff. I prefer mild. I may just try it one day.

| I like ready made sauces and marinades. They are just right for my taste and it saves me a lot of my time. So instead of preparing those things, I could do something else.

| I make my own barbecue sauce and marinade because I could adjust the flavor according to my taste. Sometimes I want my sauce to be very sweet or spicy. Other times I want it thick with different spices.

Although in the beginning I had little success but in time I got pretty good at it. Though I won't hesitate to buy it if I'm in a rush.
