Default butane or campfire?

I am just curious here --- with the advent of the butane stove --- do you die-hards in camping give up cooking with coal or wood in favor of this stove?

I use both, we love to cook over the campfire but we also fire up the grill when we are cooking a big meal. I think it's fine to use both. Nothing tastes better than a hotdog over the campfire though.
