Default Camping snacks

We usually go camping with another couple of families several of whom have young children. The kids play so hard they are just hungry all day long. What are some good easy to pack filling snacks we can take?

We are usually good with jerky and trail mix. I figure that's a little bit better than chips and candy which I usually stash so they can't just grab it whenever they get the munchies.

My kids love to make popcorn over the campfire. We buy the Jiffy Pop popcorn or sometimes we take our own aluminum pie pans, tongs, popcorn, oil, salt and butter and make our own jiffy pop.

We do trail mix with some toasted oatmeal thrown in to make it last a little longer. I have even done my own trail mix. I found a mixture of dried fruit which has dried sour cherries, cranberries, strawberries, and blueberries and I put in all types of toasted nuts, chopped and some whole. I use the toasted oatmeal and some corn flakes for crunch. I add coconut and anything else I have in the pantry. The kids love it and I get to use some things that may be starting to near their expiration date in the pantry.
