Default Cast iron cookware

I was wondering, can you have too much cast iron cookware? I have not been out yard sale'ing in a while, but I typically found the same size pans. Usually after two or three I would stop buying that size. But some people seem to collect them no matter what.

Yard sales are a great place to pick up cast iron. I have seen soooo many throughout the years for really, really cheap prices. I love the ones that are caked in grease. lol Kind of gross but you know it's well seasoned!

I have switched to the heavy stainless steel pots and pans, they cook like the cast iron. I can fry bacon they fry an over easy egg in the SS and clean up is a lot easier. I use one for camping also.

I have a collection starting. Once some people know that you use CI they will give you some just to get rid of it. I am always on the look out for some. For some strange reason I just like it.

I love cast iron cookware but for some reason it is kind of difficult to find around here even at yardsales and flea markets. In my opinion no you can't have enough!

Yeah, I have made it known, but the wifes family likes cooking with it too, well at least her sister in law. And most of her family is up north.

I've found you have to hit the yard sales early or it sells quick. I do not know if it is making a come back or what. Fleak markets can be expensive.
