Corn dogs

Anyone ever roasted a corn dog over a campfire? How did it turn out? The kids want to give it a try the next time we camp. I say what the heck let them try. Looking for any tips first.

Make sure they don't hold them too close to the fire and make sure they are thawed out first. If they hold them too close to the fire, they will get done on the outside but the weiner on the inside will still be cold. Same thing if they are still frozen, they will get done on the outside only.

Good tips! We don't like corndogs but I am sure they would be ok to roast over the fire, just like a regular weenie. Just test them before the kids eat them.

I am sure as long as you thaw them first they will work out just fine. Like some of the others said don't let the kids get to close to the fire but I think it will work.
