I agree, it just doesn't work and it is pointless trying to do some of the things that you would do at home.

It requires a lot closer attention and it is very important to be sure that the food is cooked through.

^ That's the part I'm always afraid of. If I choose to cook any sort of meat, it's really hard for me to be able to judge how long it's going to take and when it's thoroughly cooked.

I keep that firmly in mind when I am cooking outdoors, imagine how dreadful it would be to get food poisoning while out in the wild!

I tend to stick to things that I feel fairly safe cooking outdoors, I would rather be safe than sorry.
