Default Shrimp?

I love grilled shrimp and would love to be able to take it camping with me but I'm afraid to take it along because it goes bad so quickly. Has anyone managed to take shrimp along without any dire consequences happening?

We take shrimp pretty often. We eat it at home quite a bit too really. We like to grill it and drizzle lemon juice on! We haven't had any problem taking it we just throw it in the ice chest with the hotdogs and eat it the next day.

I'm also afraid to take any kind of seafood with us when we camp. I don't want to run the risk of anyone getting sick and having a miserable trip. I have had bad seafood before and OMG it's a baaaaad time.

If it went bad that would not be a good trip, but we have taken all kinds of seafood before. We just put it in a cooler on ice and we have never had a problem.

I take shrimp camping a lot. If your shrimp is frozen, and you eat it on the first night, you should be OK. It's in the cooler for the drive and camp set-up, and by the time you're ready to make dinner, it's barely had time to thaw.

I usually cook them on skewers, with veggies and make some chicken or beef.

This is one of my favorite to eat every time I camp with my colleagues. We usually put the shrimps in the ice chest full of ice cubes so it should prevent spoiling and it would be odorless. Grilling it is the best to cook over the fire and we would serve it with a plain steamed rice.
