Great venison recipe I tried cooking venison in the slow cooker and it turned out extra delicious. I added six slices of bacon to the tenderloin along with a dab of butter. Once it had set for 3 or 4 hours and was cooked pretty thoroughly, I added a can of mushrooms and made up a brown gravy from the drippings in the pan. I poured the gravy on top and let it set on low until dinnertime. It was tender, juicy and one of my favorite venison recipes to date!
