| Swiss Army vs. Classic Blade What do you think the better choice would be for camping and survival: to use a Swiss Army knife or some usual bigger blade knife?

| I never go into the wild without my Swiss Army Ranger, it's incredible. But, and this is a big but, I also bring my strong big blade because you can't expect a lot of power from a small blade like Swiss Army's.

| Personally if I had to choose, even though I do like Swiss Army knifes, I think I would have to go with one of my big blades.
It is not about the tool, but that hand that welds it.

| Yup that is right. Swiss Army knife, although legendary, can break if you force it too much. That is why big blades are more reliable.

| Swiss Army. Not saying I would not take an extra just in case, but I have been brought up around so many Swiss Army fans if I did not have one you could bet I would be getting a beating when I returned home.

I was in the same situation as a kid as well. Swiss Army seemed more as a cult than some ordinary group of fans.

| I would take the Swiss! Then again it all depend on how you are using it. I always have at least three knives on me when in the field and two on the street
