Default Wind Energy

I know that this may not be cliche topic for this forum but it's still suitable enough. Does anyone know how much does it cost to build the most basic windmill and have it store energy?

I looked at some of the systems they sell a year or two ago. From what I remember it was not cheap. I was looking at the urban type systems rather then the windmill. It also took about 12 years to get the money out of the system after factoring in cost, and electric cost you would save. I am not sure how things improved since then.
