How often do you clean your RV?

I have a friend that owns an RV and its really dirty on the inside and outside. I sort of hinted that he needs to clean it and he said he will do it about a week before he uses it.

As far as I know he only uses it about twice a year, is that common? Is it common to only clean up your RV only a few times a year?

I have a travel trailer and I clean it every spring from top to bottom. Then threwout the summer I clean it once we are done camping for that week. I clean it again from top to bottom in the fall before we winterize it.

My husband washes the outside of the trailer about 3 times in the summer. It can get really dirty just sitting outside. We want to keep it nice.
