Default Have you ever let a friend camp in your back yard?

We had a friend that had no where to live so we let him pitch his small tent in our back yard. He didn`t seem to mind that we wouldn`t let him sleep on the couch. He is just a kind of friend we met through someone else. He only stayed a few days.

I haven't done this before. I have had relatives come for a weeks vacation and they camped in our yard. They had a motorhome, so it was pretty much their home on wheels.

I've never had anyone in that type of circumstance before. We have had visiting relatives who have camped in their motorhome in the back before but it was luxurious! I would love to have one of those big ones but we have just as much fun in our little tent!

We set up our tent in the backyard a couple of times for our boys to have sleepovers with their friends, but that's as close as we've ever gotten to that. What a difficult situation.

We have let friends camp out in our back yard on a couple of different occasions when they fell into a bad situation. I'd like to think they'd do the same for me if things got that bad.

We've never been confronted with this type of situation, but I would have to say that I don't think it would be an issue to let someone, that we knew in some way, use that space for a bit.

I never had a situation where a friend in need camps in our backyard. If there's someone who is in need of shelter, we may be glad to let him use our backyard to camp on.

Most of you guys are the host. But in my experience, we were the visitors that needs to sleep in the tents. We don't mind because its just for 2 nights. And we love it because its like having a short camping on the backyard of a friend.
