| Tarps! So we went to camp last night at a friend's camp and the kids wanted to rough it. They were going to sleep out under the stars instead of in the campers. I had to laugh when they asked for tarps. I was like why? They took several tarps at put some underneath them and then 2 over top of them. I said it's a make-shift tent, not "roughing it".

| I guess it's how you look at it...at least they are outside and not sitting in front of a video game in their room. LOL.

| lol, what happened to the good ole days when you just propped up against a tree and watched the stars until you fell asleep?

| I think that is one of the best part about camping. Looking up at the stars, sitting by a fire, talking to friends and falling asleep. But here in Florida there is too many bugs and snakes and scorpions for me to stay all night outside the tent. Even though I have done it once or twice and woke up just fine.

| You can give them clear plastic instead of a tarp. If you do it right you can watch the rain come down and the sky. It is surreal to watch the rain fall on you like that but to not actually get wet.

| Well the last guy who rented my house must have loved sleeping under the stars. When I first moved in here, when I finally got in bed, I turned out the light and rolled over on my back. I just about freaked out. They had put a bunch of those glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling and you could see them everywhere. It was kind of nice after I figured out what it was, just like camping!! LOL

LOL
