| Tent Brand I have a small little tent but now that I have a child I find it is too small for myself, my husband and son. I am looking for a new one, most will be on sale soon because of end of season, what brands are good and which should avoid?

| Coleman tends to be a good brand. We have had one for many years, but I do find the older stuff is more durable than the newer stuff but that seems to be the same with everything.

| I've loved the Coleman tents I've had....... also one of my favorite tents was one by the Greatland company (sold at Target) not sure if they still make them but it was a 4 or 6 person tent that didn't need poles put together... it already had the poles attached and you just snapped them in... it was awesome and my son would still be using it but finally after like 8 years the zipper broke. Other then that Colemans are always great

| Thanks, I am going to start looking as fall approaches and maybe I can get a good one for what I would have paid for a lesser quality one, I love out of season discounts.

| I also have a Coleman tent. I haven't used it extensively, but it's been easy to put up and take down, and it's quite functional. It put up with a little rain this weekend without allowing so much as a drop through. I'm happy with it.
My older brother has a 3 person Coleman tent that he's been using for about a decade. He's very happy with it as well.

It SUCKS to wake up in the middle of the night to discover that the snow beneath your tent has melted and soaked through your bedding. I cannot stress this enough.

| Michael has an awesome point there, we forgot once and while it was not snow the rain did not make us too happy either. For me, I have always loved Colemans but I also grew up in a household that only bought them too.

| Colman is a very good brand of tents. I find them to be the best tents when it comes to being and keeping them waterproofed.
