Hiking When It's too Cold to Camp

The weather is just so poor right now that obviously we can't go camping. What alternatives do you find, to get out when the weather is bad? We like to snow shoe, and go for a hike in the snow when it's safe.

I like to go snowshoeing, small game hunting and ice fishing during the winter. Lately I've done more ice fishing than anything else.

What about skiing? Have you considered that-cross country skiing and a little on the hills can be most exhilarating when the weather is that bad. Or else, enjoy the snow and build a snow hut!
