Default What is the most important thing to bring on a hike?

The most important thing for me to bring on a hike will be my canteen. I can use it to carry water and also cook with it if I need to cook my food.

In your personal preference, what is the most important thing for you to bring on a hike?

For me it would be the GPS. I don't want to be stranded in nature when worse things ever happen. Most deaths that happen in the wild is being stranded without food or water.

Myself!

Sometimes I'm so lazy to go on a scheduled hike that I just go because I don't want to ruin the mood of my friends by not coming along. But even when I'm hiking already, I just think of my bed and I really can't enjoy the hike.

I like the way you think 2coastcamper! I hope everyone would bring that with them though. I like to have a GPS on hand when I head out.
