Default Choosing a Push-Pole

Hello All,

I'm new to the forum and just getting into fishing the shallows.

I purchased a used 22' Sterling about 6 months ago and decided to add a poling platform to it.

What do I need to consider in choosing a push-pole? I've never poled a boat before myself but would like to start out with the right equipment. I'm fishing the Lake worth Lagoon and Flamingo for starters.

Thanks for any help
