Do we need any training for scuba diving? I know they train the professionals but do we need?

Basically scuba diving is dangerous as it has caused many deaths....we surely need it for safety purposes(like right equipment) etc...

Everyone needs basic training before diving for their own safety and for the safety of anyone that they dive with. Diving n and of itself is no more dangerous than riding a bike.

Yes, you do need basic training. You have to know what things may come up and how to deal with them if and when they do.
