Best place to scuba dive

As a gift to myself, I am planning a scuba diving trip next summer after I graduate from graduate school. Where was your favorite scuba diving experience?

I would have to say Hawaii or down in the Caribbean. That seems to be the top two places I hear about. But I have not learned scuba diving yet, so I could not say from experience.

The Caribbean, definitely the Caribbean! Speaking from experience, the water is nice and warm, especially in the summer time, and its crystal clear.

There are so many great dive spots in the Caribbean, so its kind of hard to choose one place to dive.
