| Cave Diving I saw a sequence on a nature show about cave diving. It was somewhere in South America. It looked really pretty and all, but it looked like the cave was filled with water up to the top of the cave. I kept wondering, what if their air hose malfunctions and they need a breath of air? Written by a true claustrophobic!

| I have a friend that cave dives here in Florida. I know he had to take special classes to be certified in it. And you will always have a partner with you. You are taught how to share a breather, so I'm assuming that is what they would do.

| Thanks, Jason. That helps me breathe a bit more easily, as regards cave diving. I love to swim, but I also like knowing my air is right above me.

| Like you I is also watching some shows about cave diving and I can see that they aren’t using a host to breathe with. They are using a tank which they carry all the time.
If is this what you meant?

| You need to have at least one partner, and he or she can share the oxygen tank with you

| Would be quite scary. I still don't understand how scuba divers can swim around sharks and stuff lol. Which is why I don't want to try it. I can't imagine swimming underwater without a way to get out fast!

| Yeah when cave diving, you will always have a partner and they don't allow without them. They swim around sharks because they have been trained. I like swimming underwater.

Written by a true claustrophobic! | You have quoted some dangers associated with diving. But do you guys know it is the danger that makes the game interesting. Without the feeling of failure or dying this sport will be incomplete. I have found the arrangements and safety features up to the mark in every place i went.
