Default Which Do You Prefer?

Would you rather walk 10 miles on flat land or 2 when you have to climb a bit? I really hate to climb and actually am trying to get over a horrible fear of heights. I've been trying to expose myself to heights more and more to try to desensitize myself to them.

I would take climbing the two miles over a boring 10 mile "walk". The best part of climbing UP is the view at the end. Yeah in a 10 mile hike on flat surfaces you could see a variety of things but, to me, there is nothing like getting to the top of a mountain and getting the 360 degree view of the world around you.

I like both, but as I get older I the knees don't like to climb as much anymore.
