These are some great points coming up on this post. You all are some intelligent people.
Not only sipping water than guzzling it will hopefully keep the cramps away. You don't want to cramp up a few miles down the trail.
I didn't know that room temp. water will be absorbed better. Maybe I shouldn't ice it down so much. I do find that I sip more often with the hydration pack than stopping and sucking down a bottle of water.

Thank you all for your input. They ARE very good points to consider as Failghe has said. I will be looking for the camel pack because we tend to drink quite a bit of water as we are hiking. I don't know why but if I start any type of exertion, I breathe through my mouth. I don't know if everyone does this but it does tend to dry you out quite a bit.
