Such a sad thing. My friend went to the memorial for her. I read in the paper under the letters to the editors, that she should have taken lessons first because she had never been diving before. As far as I now they still haven`t found her body. I have never been diving but if I ever want to I will make sure to take lessons first. I feel so bad for her family.

I hadn't heard of this story yet; what exactly happened? I don't have a TV and have been busy the last few days, now I'm going to have to scour the internet for the story!
I haven't heard either. It is such a tragedy when things like this happens. I always have been a firm believer in learning all that you can about something before attempting it. Bless her and her family.
I think my husband was talking about this to his buddy on the phone yesterday. I overheard him so I don't know the whole story. Sounds really awful though. I haven't seen it on the news.
What a shame! We don't do TV either so I hadn't heard of this. What a foolish thing to do, go diving without lessons! Unfortunately, the worst thing that could happen for her happened. Her poor family! I'll send up prayers for them.
This was a local woman here in Florida. She went Lobster diving in the Keys and came up but was yelling to her husband that she needed help, then she went back under and he couldn`t find her. So sad.
Oh dear! That's a horrible thing. I'm really cautious about water. I do swim but I just don't like to be careless. It is so easy to get into trouble on the water.
That's the problem people go diving or swimming when they don't know how to. This is when danger stikes and I'm supprised people don't get this by now. It's terrible but maybe people will wake up and realise they need lessons and vital skills in order to do some of the more 'risky' sports.
