Camping with kids

Have you ever taken small children (under 4) camping? My sister and I were thinking about bringing her son with us, but I'm not sure if it is feasible.

Its feasible but prepare for the unthinkable. Toddlers are very curious about anything and they would just get anything that their tiny hands can reach. Camping with very young kids will just make you a watcher of the kids.

maybe if you have activities that will get them to participate then I guess you will have a good camping with the little ones.

We have always taken our kids even when they were literally days/weeks old. I guess it depends on who you are if you find it acceptable. We are prepared and have the supplies to do this while some do not.
