Do You Camp Away From Everyone?

My husband and I enjoy getting away from everyone, even the kids once in awhile. Most of the time the kids are with us but we always camp away from other campers. We have a favorite stretch of undeveloped beach that we enjoy camping on in the summer.

It all depends on where I am. If I know the territory well enough, I usually choose a quiet spot, far from everyone. But if I am in a new territory, I choose to stay with the mob.

We car camp in the campgrounds. The girlfriend can't go too far. I usually sneak away during the day alone into the "wilds".

I never camped alone in my whole life so I prefer to camp with other people around me. Sometimes the thought of being alone camping in the wilderness is too scary for me.
