First Time!

This past summer we went to Florida camping and we had the opportunity to go to Weeki Wachi to see the manatees. We also got to see armadillos which I had never seen before. I actually got close enough to pet one! I didn't realize their shell was so hard and hairy. They were one of the strangest feeling creatures I've ever touched.

I get to fight with one every night here at my house. The darn thing won't stay out of my cat's food. Want to come get it? LOL

I don't think I'd want to touch one! I'd be afraid it would bite me. I've been bitten enough in my lifetime by supposedly "friendly" creatures so I don't want to try with the wild animals.

Did you see our world famous Mermaids? I used to go there often, but have not been in a few years. That is the start of the river I've been tubing down too. Were you enter the river is a ways down though.
