| Itching to go! Is anyone getting excited about camping yet? My family is! It's snowing out and we have about 5 inches on the ground but we are talking camping.
I can't wait for warmer weather so we can get out there in the great outdoors.

| I hear ya'. Each spring after the ice goes out, I backpack to a lake in the Adirondacks and spend a few days camping and fishing. It always ends up being one of my favorite trips of the year and I'm itching to go myself.

| I've been getting antsy as the wife would say. The weather has just been old the cold enough not to go side. This week looks promising, but vacation time is over.

| As soon as the vadalia onions come back in season I'll get my foil wraps made up. Then I'll be ready to go.

| Glad that it's summer time here so I can freely camp with friends anytime. We can bring some protection from heat in case we're prone to having heat stroke in case the climate temperature gets hotter.

| Right now we have over a foot of snow so there will be no camping for me for a while. I can't wait though to get up and get out there in the wild. We love to camp!

| Snow depth now at Mt Rogers at 3500 is approx 2 feet with drifts to 4 feet. Elk Garden where the AT crosses is closed to thru traffic. Expecting to get 4to 7 more inches tonight. I live approx 3 miles down off the Mt from there. My home elevation is 3500 ft and Elk Garden 4,434 ft. Virginia Birding and Wildlife Trail » Mountain Trail » Mount Rogers » Elk Garden

Refrigerator~ I envy the amount of snow in your area. Vt hasn't been dumped on yet.
