Default Biggest horse

I was reading the thread about the biggest fish and it got me wondering about other big things? What is the biggest horse in the world and what does it cost?

Default World records

There are two different records. One is for the tallest horse and the other is for the biggest horse. The biggest horse is 2.057m tall and weighs over 1.3 tonnes and is still growing. Here is a picture and some more details.

Ahhh metric! So that horse is over 7 feet tall. I read somewhere there was one back in the 1800s that was a lot taller than that.. or maybe that site had a typo in the number? Or maybe horses from the 1800s don't count in the records or something.

I have no idea what the biggest horse is. I know there are some horses that are raised for meat in Europe that are absolutely huge. The Percherons would probably come in a close second.

Belgians, Percherons, Clydesdales. They're big. I had to bury a Belgian once. We should have had a backhoe but we didn't. It took four of us digging all day in sand to make the hole big enough so we could drag the carcass into the ground using a tractor.

A horse isn't somethign you want to bury. Your best bet is to leave it out as coyote bait and shoot them as they feed. Unfortunately, some horses are like family members and you just can't bring yourself to do the bait thing.
