| Belgians, Percherons, Clydesdales. They're big. I had to bury a Belgian once. We should have had a backhoe but we didn't. It took four of us digging all day in sand to make the hole big enough so we could drag the carcass into the ground using a tractor.
A horse isn't somethign you want to bury. Your best bet is to leave it out as coyote bait and shoot them as they feed. Unfortunately, some horses are like family members and you just can't bring yourself to do the bait thing.
