hey, I hear there is a new section @ starkey park. Im thinking about hitting it up sometime... there should be a new entrance over on 52 by the suncoast (right across from the "lone star" community.

Cape Hatteras is a massive barrier island in North Carolina, which people refer to it as part of the greater Outer Banks. They wrap around the eastern-most part of the state, and create a still-water sound. The major ones are connected, actually, by a highway system. There are barrier islands, however, that you must boat to. Shackleford Island is one. Centuries ago, a Spanish ship crashed there with many horses to trade. Those horses survived the crash, and started a population of wild horses that thrives today. If you're ever anywhere near the area, a short boat ride is worth exploring the uninhabited island!
