Good question. I don't know. Walleye spawn in the Spring, usually April to May. If you can find the beds, you'll catch a good bunch of them. In the Fall their feeding seems to start when full daylight is achieved.

There is that one stretch in the Spring after spawn when they move off the beds and rest for a week or so and they don't bite. This doesn't happen in the Fall so I guess I'll say Fall.
