tent foor cover

Anyone with a BIG tent use a mat or carpet or anything as a floor cover ? If so what do you use ?
I have a trek 245c 9x12 and like the idea. A carpet/rug that size is hard to carry around and cost a lot. The mats for outside of rv's seems better, but not sure of how thick thay are. Any advice ?

For a big floorless tent, I like to bring a small carpet to put by my cot. Then there is a place to put the bare feet while dressing.
