    Pie iron - no campfire

I don't see why it wouldn't work. You should give it a try next time and report back here and let us know how it went. :)

    Are you kidding me?

I have trouble every time I upgrade my phone and it ends up taking hours and lots of bouncing around with customer service to fix. I have Verizon now and I'm a lot happier with them than I was with AT&T, but I think they're all a pain at the end of the day.

    My Kitten

I think you need to cater to her water playfulness in a way that makes you both happy. If you completely cut her off from playing in water, she will find something even more mischievous to get into. Cats don't like to be told no so compromise is often necessary.

    Whitney Houston died

I heard about it last night. She completely threw away a God given talent that many people would give their right arm for. Really a sad, sad situation.

    Potatoes on the grill

Potatoes on the grill are is my favorite way to cook potatoes. I love the combination of peppers and onions too. I usually opt for hot peppers in mine. :)

    Hammocks. Try them.

Gorgeous pictures, Grandpa! We don't have a hammock at the moment, but I do love them and I know my husband does too. I think I may be onto something here for Father's Day.

    Red fox

I completely agree with this. In most rural areas where I have lived, this is the way it goes. If you live in a more urban area, you're probably going to need to make some phones calls to find out what the protocol is.

    Mustard as glue

I use a mustard slather on almost everything I grill or smoke. I love mustard and I actually have a cookbook of just mustard slather recipes that go with all different kinds of meats, seafood, and fish. Yummy!

    Jet ski maintenance

I'm thinking about buying a jet ski this summer, but other than how to ride them, I don't know much about them. Do they require a lot of maintenance? Is there anything I should know about beforehand that a dealer might not tell me?

    Hiking yesterday and itching today

Could it be chigger bites? I've heard that they are active in all temperatures and their bites are the worst! I got attacked about four years ago and still have the scars to prove it.

    A foggy camping trip

There is something about fog that I find very comforting in an eerie kind of way. I don't like the damp that comes with it, but it is definitely an ambiance of its own.

Do You Use A Helmet When Riding

I wear a helmet no matter where I am riding for the simple reason that I am the clumsiest person I know. I'm one of those people who should probably wear a helmet just to walk around my house. :D

    Pop ups and mildew issues

I really like the idea of a pop up camper, but a lot of the ones I have seen have problems with moisture and mildew. Is there a way to avoid this?

    Tioga State Forest

Has anyone been to Tioga State Forest in Pennsylvania? I will be spending the summer in that area this year and I'm looking for any inside tips and suggestions. :)

    Scavenger hunts

Scavenger hunts can take place anywhere, but I was thinking it would be fun to plan one this summer for my family to help teach my daughter about different things in nature. I was thinking of bringing back different types of leaves, moss, etc. What else would you suggest to add to the list?

    Cooking a Goose

That's what I was thinking, Gabbie! I have a friend who went goose hunting last week and I was actually coming here to see if anyone knew how to cook it. There has to be some way to make it edible.

    Cat camping?

I would never take my cat camping. I've never even thought about it. If it works for some people that's great, but my cat would be miserable on a camping trip.

    Southern costal camping

I'm with Hazel and Bahia Honda. I lived in the Keys for a bit and it was one of my favorite places to go. I didn't do any camping there because I lived nearby, but it was a beautiful place to spend the day.

    13 politically incorrect gun rules

This is funny stuff! Thanks for the link, southerngal. Oldsarge, even though I'm a woman I can appreciate the humor of your post and I will be sharing it with my husband tonight. :)

    Dog in the tent?

No, no dogs in the tent. My two drive me nuts in the house so I couldn't imagine dealing with them in the tent. I actually don't even bring the dogs when we're tent camping.
