We fish all year long here in Florida. :) Fishing is always good but chilly in the winter time. But at least we can go if we want to and not have to worry about dealing with snow and ice.
I was visiting up north one time (many years ago) and went with some friends. It was very interesting as I had never done this before. I remember it being very cold and I think we did catch a few fish.
Any one have some suggestions for some good riding boots? Ones that don't cost and arm and a leg? I'm hoping to get back into riding again, which I haven't done in years and need some good boots, so I'm open for suggestions. :)
I think that stuff hangs around as long as it can. We are in Florida so it can still get you if you are not looking out for it. It will get killed back if we have some heavy frost.
Yes, I do think there are places to have phones on and off (or vibrate). It can be so annoying to hear a phone ring in a place that is normally quiet. Especially so if it has a very unique ring to it.
I have seen these too but not for a long time. I guess they would be good if you wanted to use them instead of a car to go somewhere. I don't know that I would want one for my young kids though. It does seem like it takes the 'exercise' factor out of riding a bicycle though.
That's good to hear and always a lot of fun to see someone catch their first fish. Hope it was one you could eat and he finally got his first taste of fish too! :)
Yes, it does seem like they run kind of wild, or at least some of them. It is like some of them think because it is Halloween and a lot of kids out that it is ok to just let them run free.
When you take your dog with you camping do you have problems with him/her having ticks when you get back home? Or do you have a special product that you use to help prevent this. We noticed several on our last time we went and we always try to keep checking him often.
Our whole family loves peanut butter and anything you can make with it. This sounds like something that wouldn't last very long in our household. :) I will be giving it a try though as I just can't pass up something like this. Thanks.
Now this is something I have never heard of. It does sound kind of interesting in the making of it. Not sure how many 'fingers' you could keep out of the bag as it gets done. I may have to give this one a try and see how it goes.
I have tried a Futon and it wasn't to bad. I think you really need to check them all out as some have better mattresses then others, just to be sure it is comfortable to you.
I don't think I would like the catch and release unless you had someone that just wanted to be able to catch a fish and didn't mind throwing it back. I like to be able to have the choice of keeping what I catch to eat later on if I want to.
I like the double but all to myself! I really don't like some of those single ones. You feel like a mummy wrapped up in them. I like a little room to move around, especially my legs.
Have any of you here given up your land line for your cell? We've been thinking about it but I'm not sure that I would like getting all calls, even the ones you don't want, on my cell. But then if you don't really need your land line?
Doesn't that just make you sick. We see that a lot when we go fishing at different places from the bank. It just makes absolutely no sense why people do this. It's really not that hard to take your trash back with you.
That is a fantastic idea and you should probably stock up on them. Then make sure you have a few on you when ever you are going camping or hiking. Always pays to be careful.
Well we were planning on going camping last weekend but had something come up and had to be home. The kids were really wanting to go so we told them they could invite some friends over and have a camp out 'sleep over'. They seemed to go for it and it all came out ok. :)
Don't you hate that when it happens. Of course it's not as bad as when they say 'no rain' and you get to where you plan to camp, get all set up and then it starts to pour! Now real warning at all. It kind of ruins your camping trip. :(
Maybe they just have a weird sense of humor. I guess you just hike to the end and turn around and hike right back. :) Is there any other way to make a new path back in a different direction?
