Well this is something that I have never done and I'm not so sure that I would. Guess I'm just not that brave. Although I did go para sailing in Mexico one time. Does that count? :)

That sounds like so much fun! I hope the weather holds up for you also. At least it sounds like you will have a lot to eat if nothing else. :)

We have ended up getting just a very small tree. The kids are gone so it is mostly for the grandkids who like to see the tree and decorations up.

Absolutely no way would you get me out shopping on that day! I hate to go when there are just normal 'crowds' much less a 'mob'. I just can't believe how some of them act either. It's just plain crazy.

For some reason it has always been harder for me to 'fall back'. You would think that would be easier since you get an extra hour of sleep but not me. Oh and I hate that it gets dark so soon too.

If it were a bit colder outside I would swear we were going to get snow. It's very cloudy and rainy out and just plain drab. And yesterday was so nice and sunny. Guess it will be turning cold again, just can't seem to make up it's mind what it wants to do.

I love to stay and a bed and breakfast and that is where we always try to stay when we have to go somewhere over night. It is just a little different then your regular hotel room and a great experience too.

I've never been to crazy for mint candy or ice cream for that matter. But, I do like the Crackle Barrel! They have some really good down home food there. I also like some of their other candies they have. You could spend quite sometime in their store area.

We went kayaking the other day in the river that leads out to the Gulf and saw several manatees. We are talking up close here. It's one thing being in a bit boat and seeing them but in a kayak is a different experience. They didn't try to tip up over or anything but did come up close.

That sounds like an interesting way to make fudge. I can see where it can be sort of entertaining on a camping trip with several people along. And what a nice 'finish' to a 30 minute game. :)

That sounds like a big job to me. Is it a big boat? I guess you would save some money doing it yourself. I can't imagine how much something like that would cost taking it to a professional.

It's been such a hectic week that we decided to just do nothing all weekend. :) We are going to have a very lazy couple of days. We haven't done that in a few long time so thought this just might be a good time to do it. Do any of you just decide to do 'nothing' for a day or two?

That's what I'm planning on doing someday soon. The cell we have now works pretty good and we have been thinking of a pay as you go too. We are actually paying for minutes we don't use so that should save us some.

Oh yes, we love to do this. If we aren't camping around that time we will build a nice campfire in the fire pit out back. Everyone gathers around and some will take turns telling all kinds of ghost stories. Some are really funny too. :)

Does anyone really like these things? And what do you do with them? Have any of you tried canning them? Do you cook anything with them? I mean these things will turn your mouth inside out so I don't know what they would taste like canned.

That sounds like a good idea to me. I hope they enjoy themselves and spend a lot of time on the road. And, maybe if you are real good they will ask you to come along sometime. :)

It's probably a good think it didn't see you although it may have been more scared of you then you him. I would be careful though as Hikebike mentioned, you don't want to come between a momma bear and her cubs.

I have never heard of this way to hard boil an egg before. It does sound like it could work and and easy way of doing it while you are camping without having to use a pot. Maybe we will just give this a try the next time we are camping.

We love to make up a big pot of homemade soup to take along with us when we camp in cooler weather. It will last a couple of days and it is full of meat and veggies so it's quite filling along with some crackers or corn bread. :)

Depends on what part of Florida you are fishing. We fish the Gulf all the time and have been catching some nice speckled trout and reds. So where we are the fishing is pretty good.
