It really depends on it there are other kids around that they see riding. The fear factor plays a big part. The oldest didn't ride without training wheels till she was about 6 and the youngest learned when he was about 4.

If you have an RV do you do most of your cooking in it or do some on a campfire? We vary things but are thinking of getting a liquid fuel stove-just so we can cook outside and maybe in the back yard for tent night. Are they worth it? Would it be redundant?

I think layaway is horrible for most people. I guess it's good if you don't have a credit card and are incapable of saving money but they lock you in at the higher prices early and the rest of us get our stuff so much cheaper.

Yes, they are safe. I still keep the tree watered well though. They sure didn't hurt us growing up but there might be a report somewhere that says they're harmful to your health (like apples).
